Enrolment Information

To enrol in one of our music programs, the first step is to check the Schedule of Fees for lesson prices. Then please complete the inquiry form below. This will give us the details we need to find a suitable program and place for you.

Once we receive your inquiry, we will contact you with available lesson times.

Help with fees

If you think you might have difficulty managing fee payments for music tuition, there are options you can consider:

  • Creative Kids Vouchers – Macquarie Conservatorium is a registered provider. Apply for your voucher after 1 January each year by visiting a Service NSW centre or using your MyService NSW account online. Then provide the details to Macquarie Conservatorium here.

  • Macquarie Conservatorium provides bursary support for students experiencing financial difficulty. Download our Bursary Guidelines and Application form and please contact the office if you have any queries about eligibility for a bursary.

  • Macquarie Conservatorium offers discounts on some tuition for families with multiple children and multiple tuition enrolments, and discounts on tuition for pensioners. Details are in our Fee Policy.

  • You can request to pay by instalments, outlining the reason for your request. This is explained in our Fee Policy.

Term 1: 5 February - 12 April (10 weeks) School programs start from 12 February

Term 2: 29 April - 5 July (10 weeks)

Term 3: 22 July - 27 September (10 weeks)

Term 4: 14 October - 19 December (10 weeks)

How to enrol with Macquarie Conservatorium

For NEW students

  • Explore our programs section to read about our tuition and music-making options for all ages, youth to adult, and all levels, beginner to advanced.

  • Download and read the Enrolment Guidelines and the Schedule of Fees for more information about enrolling.

  • Make an inquiry for a specific tuition type, class or activity; click on one of the links above to send us your Inquiry.

  • We will process your Inquiry and contact you if we need to discuss any details.

  • Once we’ve allocated you a place, we will send you everything you need to enrol.

For re-enrolling students

  • All existing students must re-enrol each year by the due date, completing a new online enrolment form by the due date and paying a fee deposit.

  • Your annual re-enrolment package with the link to your online enrolment form is emailed to you in November.

  • Please re-enrol for 2024 by the due date Monday 4 December 2023.

  • Once you have re-enrolled and paid your fee deposit, you will be sent an invoice for the remainder of your tuition fees in January to early February.

Instrument hire

Macquarie Conservatorium has some instruments available for hire to students enrolled for tuition with Macquarie Conservatorium. The cost is $70 per term.
